Yes you are! As long as you are running iTracker360 on ALL pages of your site. Which is what we recommend. If you are running wordpress and you have installed our iTracker360 plugin, then you should be good to go.
However; here are some things you might want to know.
Universal Analytics is pretty awesome. When your page loads, a cookie called "_ga" is created. That cookies value looks like this: GA1.2.28757693.1399497939
- GA1 = Version
- 2 = Session Number
- 28757693 = Unique ID
- 1399497939 = Time Stamp
So where is all the tracking data that says "bing organic" or whatever it might be? Good Question.
It's on Google's server. They can take that UniqueID above and tie it to the person who is currently logged into any of their partners. Then extract age, gender, search history, and other demographic information. This is all really great (and scary), but if you are trying to tie the leadsource information back to Infusionsoft, it's impossible to do this now. But don't worry, we are on top of it. As long as you have iTracker360 on all of your pages, we can pull that data and tuck it away into your Infusionsoft Account.
Another thing to note, Universal Analytics and Google Analytics track in different ways. So there might be some differences in how Universal Analytics handles first touch visits, second touch, last touch. In Google Analytics there is a priority algorithm. Most of the time, it's going to use first touch, unless the cookie was deleted or the cookie value was over-ridden by the utm parameters set in a custom url. There is an algorithm on the precedence. Organic/Referral overwrites a direct lead. Custom URL's overwrite Organic or Referral leads. Regardless of whatever happens to the tracking cookie, iTracker will take that data and pass it along into Infusionsoft.
A lot of this might be over your head, but don't worry. We've handled the technical aspects. Just include iTracker360 on all your pages.
